05 Feb Do you have an option other than Hi-Vis workwear
Does this sound familiar to you – That you’ve started your work year and getting a fresh set of uniforms/ work wear seems like a feel good and logical thing to do, but there’s some reluctance creeping up, knowing that your hi-vis, fluro workwear would soon get soiled with tough stains that only come out half-halfheartedly when washed, leaving unsightly marks on the fabric.
Uniforms that you went an extra step of getting embroidered or printed logos done on. All of that effort and you don’t feel like wearing them?
An old customer of mine recently came in and begrudgingly handed me a few black t-shirts to embroid their logos on, saying that she did not want to continue using the fluro hi-vis garments that they had always been getting so far, as those got stained almost immediately at work – gardening and lawn maintenance, and that their crew was always left looking shabby wearing them. They did not prefer wearing black either, but they preferred wearing garments with at least reflective tapes on them. It was a dilemma, and listening to her then, I realized I had heard this in the past before.
What do you do if yours is a trade or business in which you don’t necessarily need to wear hi-vis fluro garments, but for safety reasons you could benefit from reflective tapes on on them?
Enter Navy and Dark Green Workwear with reflective tapes. They’re dark, check. Stains don’t show easily on them, check, and they have reflective tapes for visibility – win win (There are also white workwear with reflective tapes available, but that suits a different set of requirement altogether.)
